Story filed: A foot bridge

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I'm going to talk about our recent stop at Sofala. While we were on our way to Mudgee, we stopped at the Joyce Pearce Memorial Park. In the middle of it, there was a long bridge. the bridge used to go over the little river there but a flood destroyed it. Years, years later a farmer found some of the remains of the bridge and then everybody helped to find the rest of the remains and once they found them, rebuilt it and plopped right in the middle of the Joyce Pearce Memorial Park. Opposite the old bridge is an engine from a coal mine and a big metal strip with a big metal bucket on it - to scoop up the dirt. So, then we got on our way and I really enjoyed our stop. I hope we stop there again. The end.

Until next time
