Hi people, Leo here. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Here are my top ten things to do when Christmas arrives:

1. going swimming is good
2. another one is riding my bike
3. reading books by Geronimo Stilton
4. eating my favourite food is good
5. playing with my Lego
6. walking into town with my Mum
7. watching the Three Stooges on DVD
8. playing with my Dad
9. visiting my Great Aunty Bonnie
10. playing with the kids next door

And number 11 is Tintin - reading my books and watching my DVD. Tintin is the reason I write this column - he is my favourite person in a book and he is a reporter; so I wanted to be one too.

Thanks for reading.

Hi people, it's Leo here again. Here is a spooky story that I wrote for school news:
"Long ago in 1986 Richard left his house. Later, the house was haunted. In the house there was a vampire, his name was Fred. He thought that he was a super-hero but all of the other vampires knew that he wasn't. He tried to stop a viking who came into the house because the viking really wanted to keep the house happy but the viking killed Fred because vampires are bad; that's what they do. The end."

Hi people, it's Leo here. Yesterday we were going to a wedding. We went to Bowral and first we got settled there in our nice hotel then we went to Barrawang for the wedding. After eating quite a lot of food at the wedding we came back to our hotel. The hotel was quite a lovely place and in the hotel doorway there was a suit of Armour; like a statue of Armour. I called the Armour Bob but the hotel manger was called Bob so I have-ted to call him something else, like Gary. There was also a swimming pool and a hot pool and a snooker table - a really big one. I was a bit clumsy playing snooker. After that we had breakfast which was quiet yum. I had a very good time at the wedding. The marriage was ok - as I had never been to a marriage before. The bride Rin looked very pretty and Mitch has had his wedding the way he wanted it. And oh yeah and my cousins were there - Jack, Noah and Gus. See you later folks.

Hi people, it's Leo here. Well, I know it's not Christmas yet but we can talk about it. Christmas is my favourite time of year. Why? Because Santa comes and he gives you presents. Santa comes into your house and leaves you presents right under your Christmas tree. Sometimes you are on the good list, sometimes you are on the bad list and if you are on the bad list, try a bit better next time so you can be on the good list for next year. Santa lives right in the heart of the North Pole - some people ask "why does he live there?" but Santa is used to the coldness so it's not a problem for him. Christmas is a special time for everyone because it comes only once a year. And I can't wait for Christmas because I love it. Christmas, Christmas, Christmas. I love Christmas no matter what.

Hi people it's Leo here. Today we are talking about my trip to Canberra. Ok, we are not talking about the road trip or anything like that, we are just talking about being in Canberra. We came from the worlds worstest road trip ever: seriously it wasn't a good trip - it's all those twisty wisty roads. We had a pop in, sleep and pop out trip. Yes, it was that quick! Before we knew it we were driving on the road again. When we were there, we went for a very early morning walk. We went through a park to get to the big lake, where I saw a skateboard ramp and I had a go on my scooter. On the walk I saw lots of people and dogs - the people there aren't that friendly. I think I prefer Bathurst people because they are kinder and you get to know people just by saying hello. Not that many hello's in Canberra. I also saw some birds - black swans, water fowl and ducks - all swimming on the lake. I do like Canberra but it is not as good as Bathurst.

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today we are talking about star gazing. I got this telescope for Christmas a couple of years ago. My Aunt Tessy bought me this one, it's quite good. I haven't been star gazing for a long time, but I would like to go star gazing one day and soon. I like looking up at all the stars in the sky, my Mum told me a lot about stars. I remember a line of stars that make a lion - Leo the lion and that is my name. But we see the lion upside down - yes, I said it, upside down. In another country they see it the other way up. I think stars are pretty good - there all kinds of stars. They are not like little stars like I might draw in a picture, they are these floaty kind of thingys in space. The sun is the nearest star of them all.

Hi people - it's Leo here. Today we are talking about my favourite toy planes. These are models of real airplanes - they are army airplanes. The grey plane is a 'bad guys' plane, it belongs to one of the baddies. I know this 'cause my Dad told me. I have another one of these planes but the propeller keeps coming off. I have another plane with a broken propeller and it also has lost a wheel - I took it to school for my news day and I think I lost the wheel there, so now it only has one wheel. Still flies though. The other plane belongs to the 'good guys'. I think I have quite a lot of planes in my collection. I like my toy planes and they are very good to play with!

She is a black cat with shiny yellow and black eyes. She has a pink collar. If she ever get's missing, you know which cat to look for. She's not missing, I'm just saying that if she gets lost, you can see that she is mine. We found her on the side of the road, seriously! Mum was driving home and I was asleep and there she was on the side of a country road. Mum put her in the car and when I woke up, I had a catty watty sitting on my shoulder. She was very little at that stage, she only fitted into a beanie! She is my best pet ever.

Hi people - it's Leo here again. Did you know that there was a car race on, here in Bathurst? It was on the weekend. There were a few crashes, but that doesn't matter. The drivers who were hurt were looked after and went to hospital and everything worked out the way it was. I saw something in a shop window - it was amazing! It was like a hundred mini garages all packed up in a little box - well, two boxes actually. There were bits of rope tied-up in hooks, long pieces of things wrapped around poles, coins stuck on walls, keys, model cars and old fashioned model cars that looked as though they were down in the storage area and if I keep going I will tire myself out. They gave me some ideas to make my own. I think these boxes were made by someone who really loves cars. Do you know who made these amazing things?

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today we are talking about robots - this is a picture of my Robo, he is a robot I made. He was very helpful, however after a while he was recycled - I made something new out of him. I made an R2D2 out of him. I had to help Robo walk as he is not a battery operated robot but a people power robot. He was able to stand on his own two feet and his right arm came off pretty easily - if you accidentally knocked him, it came off. He was fun to play with and I built him out of click clacks - first I had a swinging thing that I put my toy chickens in (that is something that swings) and then I joined it all up to build Robo. Do you have a favourite robot character?

But I don''t have a favourite because, it is ALL my favourite. We saw four very big pigs in the middle of the city, just plonk, in the middle of the street. You could hop on their backs, stick your fingers in their nostrils and they are made of gold metal. One pig had his hoofs up on the edge of a garbage bin and I reckon the other three were looking for food too! They didn't eat my sandwich though. I mean, I didn't like it at all - I sort of vomited on the way, I got car sick and you know what happens when you get car sick...bleh, you vomit. We had to stop on the way so I could feel better. First stop was the old ladies shop in a little village where we normally stop. We stopped and we bought some things and then we left. I also played with a little kid who's mum was shopping there too and he kept wrecking my grass tee-pee. Do you want to know what a grass tee-pee is? It is a tee-pee made out of grass and you need to make a tee-pee shape with picked grass and a little hole for the entrance and he kept wrecking it! And we also stopped at The Big Merino - that is a big sheep you can go inside and climb up the stairs to look out of his eyes. Then we hit the road again and finally reached Canberra. The end.

Today we were all celebrating the ANZAC men who went to war - who also actually worked on the railway and then lost their lives in war. We can't keep these because it is going to be burnt/cooked so it can stay together for a really long time and then your thing goes into the Trainworks Railway Museum art piece and you can show it to people when you go to visit there. We also went on a train ride - it was an old carriage we were in, it was so lovely. Most trains don't let you stick your head out the window but in this train the windows opened and you can stick your head out and get the country air. Seriously, it's not town air that has all the smoke in it, it's country air. We were getting pulled by a real steam train engine and on the way back were pulled by a diesel engine. No, its not the stuffing in chickens, the delicious stuffing you can eat, no you must have mis-understood me if you thought that. I am going to tell you a story; once upon a time those animals were alive but then they died and they cut a line down their tummy and took out the body parts. I hate to see dead eagles as they are one of my favourite animals. It was a very hot day, it was so hot that my head felt like it was going to explode. Then from through the museum rooftop cafe window, I saw these blue things - these big blue balls floating on top of shallow water.
