Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I am going to talk about Yoga Cats...yes, that's right you heard me ....yoga cats. When I was little, like a couple of years ago, when I was starting to learn piano, I had this little practice book. This little practice book was for keeping track of me practicing the piano and if I had practiced on that day I would get a sticker - any kind of sticker. And if I didn't practice, I didn't get a sticker. I would get to choose my sticker and I liked to choose lots of different kinds of stickers; funny ones, not so funny ones, big ones and skinny ones. And believe it or not I still have most of those stickers and I probably have the book somewhere too. But there was a book of stickers I particularly liked - they were called Yoga Cats. They were really funny - the cats would be in all kinds of yoga poses. Anyway when mum and me were looking for a picture for this column - it was just so funny...all these pictures of cats doing yoga made me laugh. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did. PS No cats were harmed in the writing of this column.

Until next time.

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I am going to talk about something I did in the school holidays. Dad has this friend from Kinglake, near Melbourne (he's the one who gave me his PS3...very kind of him!) and we stayed at his place for two days. We went out to lunch one day with Tony and his brother Mark and everyone else - we got chips, really nice chips and I got duck breast; very chewy. I felt very sorry for the duck I was eating. The restaurant we went to was at the Chandon Winery in the Yarra Valley. After that, we went outside to look at the vineyard and something moving through the vines caught my eye - it was a cute little bunny.

Until next time.

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I am going to talk about...well actually a couple of things. First, why do people litter? Not everyone litters but the people that do, are they too lazy to put it in the bin? Well I wish they did because it can end up in oceans, rivers and it doesn't just affect the environment, it affects us too. and there's lot's of other things that can affect us:
  • Biodiversity. Biodiversity is the most complex and vital feature of our planet. ...
  • Water. Water pollution is a huge concern for us and our environment. ...
  • Deforestation. We need plants and trees to survive. ...
  • Pollution. ...
  • Climate Change.
So, it would be great if the people who cut down trees for no reason and the people who litter, to think twice.
PS my mum helped with this list.

Until next time.

Hi people, it's Leo here. Is this a scorching summer or not?  It's boiling hot and there's been a lot of insects as well, that I have noticed. Like ants, grass hoppers, cicadas and this stick insect on the cement footpath in town on William Street. These are insects that I have heard, seen and we have caught my cat eating. And it's not just insect s that are out and about, there's also been blue tongue lizards. We've had one really big one visiting in our back yard. Another thing I have seen is lots of dead Christmas beetles. Have you seen any other insects or cold-blooded reptiles around?

Leo out.

Until next time.
