Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I am going to talk about a new shop called Time Warp Collectibles. Maybe you have been there? I have. My mum and I went there last week. The shop has some pretty cool stuff for sale. I really liked some model racing cars and some miniature James Bond cars and a model car set, I think it was a Ferrari. I'm going to save up for it. The shop keeper was really friendly and she didn't just have have model cars for sale... she had buttons to typewriters, coats to jewelry! It's a really cool, and I mean REALLY cool shop. Maybe you will go there some day too. I would highly recommend it.

Until next time

"Welcome back to another episode of Dangerous Beasts of the World. We're joined by our host Jack Butterfingers."
"The Beast was last seen destroying the Statue of Liberty and then it swam to Madagascar! We are now at the location of the last sighting of The Beast...here it comes. Viewers at home, I present The Beast......The Chicken! Dum dum duuumm!!!"

Cluck cluck cluck...."Here it comes, oh no.... help,.help! Run, run for your life....oh no....the horrid, horrid pecking..."

Off camera we hear a blood curdling "cluck, cluck, cluck..."

The End

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I am going to talk about the new metro trains coming to Sydney.... maybe some day they will come to Bathurst. Me and my Mum had to catch lots of trains when we were in Sydney on the weekend. The last time that we caught the train it was really packed. I was stuck in a crowd of people in a very small carriage and I felt like sardine in a tin of sardines. The new Metro's look pretty cool. I saw a brand new platform and train but they were doing a test run. Have you seen a new metro train? I hope I get to ride in one soon.

Until next time.

 My own Backyard

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I am going to talk about gardening. On Sunday me and my mum decided to lay some brick pavers in the garden. First we had to dig up the weeds, then dig up the ground to make it all even. We kept some plants that weren't weeds. After that we put down the bricks and made a little garden..... it took all day but we got it done.  When we finished, I realised that this job was harder than I thought. I also learnt that if you start a job, always finish it and don't quit in the middle and just leave. Otherwise it will just sit there and you might not go back to it.

Until next time.

 Moloch horridus

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I am going to talk about the Thorny Devil.

I was asked to to do a project on the Thorny Devil and I found out lots of things I didn't know. Did you know that the Thorny Devil can't drink water like other animals but it's skin is like a drinking straw - there are little channels all over the body leading to the mouth and all the lizard (it is a lizard) has to do is suck and all the dew that has gathered on the lizard's thorny spines goes travels down the channels in to its' mouth. The Thorny Devil (also known as the Moloch horridus) can eat up to 1,000 ants in a meal. Crazy, I know - I can't do that!

So, the Thorny Devil can do lots more cool things but unfortunately I can't tell you all of them in this column as there is not enough room. I hope that now you think that the Thorny Devil is cool. I do.

Until next time.
