Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I'm going to talk about my trip to Melbourne. Me and my dad and my mum went to Melbourne. We stayed in one hotel for two nights and then we stayed in another for two more nights. On the last day my Godmother Fiona came to visit us in the hotel. We went out but I can't remember where we went but I can remember this: when we were coming back, we saw this game shop and it was called Warhammer and there were mini figures everywhere and before I knew it, I was playing with battlefields and painting my own mini figure - an Ultra Marine. I had lots of fun at the shop and maybe when I get older I will have learned how to play Warhammer.

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I'm going to talk about my visit to the Chifley house museum. On Sunday me and my mum went to Ben Chifley's house. Ben Chifley was a train driver and down at the station they have his train. Ben wasn't just a train driver, he also was the Prime minister of Australia. We went on a tour of his house, it really was his house! He had all kinds of awards from when he was Prime minister of Australia. One of them was a model plane and the plane's roof opened up. And there was a pipe and some tobacco and some matches because Ben liked to smoke. He said it was good for the lungs but really it kills you. I really liked visiting Ben Chifley's house. Maybe I will go back there some day soon.

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I'm going to talk about the Royal Bathurst Show. I went to the Bathurst show and the first ride I went on was the "Dark Ride" ghost train. It was really scary and I am never going on it ever again. I also went on the dodgem cars. I just did the thing you were supposed to do: drive into people. But you're supposed to dodge because, "dodge 'em" car. We had something to eat at the CWA stall and it was good. We also watched the wood chopping. It was so much fun, I can't wait until the..oh wait, I forgot to tell you something. I entered the Junior Lapidary and I got First, First, First, most successful exhibitor - I got a ribbon with that - and Champion! I also got a ribbon with that as well. As I was saying, I can't wait until next year's Royal Bathurst Show.

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I'm going to talk about my trip to Canberra. I went to the War Memorial and the best bit about the War Memorial, that I liked, was the Discovery Zone. The Discovery Zone is where children big and small can dress up in clothes - not just any clothes; army clothes! They've got these 'sceneries' to make you feel like you're really there. They've got a helicopter, a submarine and a trench. In the trench I was wearing a Lieutenant's coat and I also wore a slouch hat. The submarine was my favourite, I liked dressing up as a sailor and looking in the periscope. I also liked pretending to fly the helicopter. I really liked my trip to the Discovery Zone. I also saw the statue of Ben Chifley in Canberra but that's another story.
