Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I am going to talk about my birthday! Last weekend I had a birthday party with my family. It was really fun. It was for my 12th birthday. My party was held in Bowral at my aunty Jude's house. The cake was delicious and it was baked by my aunty Barbara and the party food was made by Jude. I had a really fun time in Bowral and it was really hard to leave.

Thank you to everyone who made my birthday so very special - all my aunties and uncles and cousins and second cousins: Tessy, Erik, Mitch, Rin, Frankie, Alfie, Greg, Barbara, Jude, Ray and Mum.

Until next time

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I am going to talk about chickens. Surprisingly chickens aren't easy pets.. My family found this out the hard way. If any one says chicken's can't fly - they are wrong, in our experience they can. When we first got Lucy and Henny Penny (our chickens) they ran for it......there was lot's of running away and re-capturing. But then we were told to clip their wings and we did. They seem a lot happier and haven't flown away again, yet. But if there is one thing we have learned, all the looking after has been worth it because their eggs are delicious.

Until next time

Hi people, it's Leo here. Today I am going to talk about the impact the bush fires have made on everyone's community. As you know a 'new' bush fire season is upon us and we are not doing too well. Lot's of peoples homes have been destroyed and lot's of people have sadly died. I have suffered a bit from the bushfires not because of the fires but because of the smoke. I am an asthmatic and the smoke has triggered my asthma quite a lot of times. I am now on stronger medication and stay indoors a lot. How has the fire affected you and your community? I hope everyone is ok especially all those who have lost their homes and the families and friends of those who have died. The fires have really bad for all our animals - koalas are really struggling, it's just really not good. But luckily there's people out there doing stuff our there to protect all the wounded animals and make sure they don't become extinct. Stay safe and listen to all the fire warnings.

Until next time

Hi people. Today I am going to talk about Christmas. Christmas is a very holy and festive season with presents, food and family. In my family we've been experiencing some difficulties with the new kitten and our newly decorated Christmas  tree. Miko keeps climbing it but she's learning not to. Well, this week is the last column for this year, so now I guess there's nothing more to say except MERRY CHRISTMAS and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Until next time.
