Story filed: Nothing too important
For today's column I don't have much to write about. In fact, I have no thing to write about. So, in an attempt to fill in the column space I will be writing about nothing. Nothing in particular and nothing in general. What is 'nothing'? Pronoun - not anything; no single thing. Adjective - having no prospect of progress; of no value. It is also the name of a surprising amount of songs! And in one more Google search for 'nothing' later, I now have a fairly good grasp on what 'nothing' is. Nothing is that dead space in your living room, nothing is anything that is not in front of you..... if that makes sense. All in all, it's nothing. For this column I don't have much in fact I don't have anything, I have nothing..... but...... if I look at this as a glass half full I do have something, we all have something. Do you know what that is? It's a small paragraph of words that a nondescript 14 year old boy wrote on nothing and that probably took a minute or so of your life to read.
