Hi people, it's Leo here.Today I'm going to talk about my rat house I built at school. My whole class - we could team up or build it by ourselves - built a house for our two class rats who we called Cuddles and Dexter. I teamed up with Sam. His mum, uncle and aunty came to all help out in building our fantastic rat house. First, the whole class decided who to team up with. Then we all drew a rough copy of our design for our rat houses. And then we had until the end of the week to bring our material in for our rat house. People brought in cardboard boxes, juice containers, egg cartons: stuff that we thought might come in handy while we were building our rat houses. Sam and I built a double story house - I had the top and Sam had the bottom. The best bit was when we put the rats inside our house to try it all out - and they went down the stairs exactly as I'd hoped! Lucky Lachie got to take the rat's home for the holidays.
